Job Description

Our distinguished multinational company located in Donostia is seeking a Junior Business Controller to join their central office in San Sebastián. The Business Analyst / Controller will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring key financial indicators to ensure profitability and operational efficiency of the plant. This includes cost control, profitability analysis, ROI, and management of KPIs and Working Capital.

Main Responsibilities

• Cost, profitability, and ROI monitoring : Oversee costs, margins, and project profitability, conducting detailed analyses to identify improvement areas and optimize profitability.
• Control and analysis of KPIs : Monitor key financial KPIs, performing ongoing analysis to evaluate operational efficiency.
• Financial reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the Group.
• Cross-department collaboration : Work closely with operations and sales departments, providing financial support for strategic decision-making and advising on the profitability of new projects.
• Budgeting and financial forecasting : Participate in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts aligned with the Group's strategy.
• Regulatory compliance and internal audit : Ensure adherence to applicable accounting and tax regulations, supporting internal and external audit processes, and maintaining transparent financial records.

• University degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial follow-up of projects, including profitability and ROI analysis, cost component analysis by plant, line, or product.
• Valuable experience in Big4 or strategic consulting, and in a multinational environment.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong economic-financial knowledge.
• High level of English (C1).
• Ability to collaborate across departments and work well in a team.
