We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Engineer for Tramways in Murcia and Jaen.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge by applying your maintenance expertise and being responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of rolling stock in this cutting-edge field. You will work alongside young and talented teammates.

You will oversee maintenance, reliability, and overhaul for the tramway systems in Murcia (11 tramways) and the upcoming system in Jaen (5 tramways). Daily tasks include collaborating with external clients, workshop managers, logistics teams, and proposing maintenance optimizations, including technological integrations and technical design modifications within applicable standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading engineering technical issue meetings and action follow-ups.
  • Preparing and attending contractual failure meetings.
  • Producing clear technical documentation such as specifications, test procedures, modification instructions, and safety reports.
  • Reviewing maintenance, reliability, and overhaul documents to ensure they are current and properly formatted.
  • Acting as a technical expert and developing expertise in your field.
  • Proposing technology insertions like HealthHub, Catenary Tracer, Track Tracer, etc.
  • Industrializing SES (Service Execution System) modifications and monitoring this system.
  • Supporting the business case for localizing maintenance activities.
  • Responding to client requests and feedback.
  • Optimizing maintenance schedules and casualty repair procedures based on operational feedback.
  • Specifying materials and tools, validating tasks, and conducting audits.
  • Supporting the production of preventive, corrective, and overhaul lifecycle costs and their optimization.

About you

We value passion and attitude over experience. The following skills and qualifications will help you succeed:

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • Desirable 1 year of experience in similar roles.
  • Availability to work in Murcia and Jaen.
  • Driver's license.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Desirable experience with SAP.
