As a Solution Architect in our Solution Design & Innovation Team within the Consulting EMEA practice, you will be a subject matter expert experienced in integrating technical and functional Autodesk solutions that create strategic advantages for companies in various industries. Your role involves collaborating with customer teams to architect and design solutions aligned with their business strategies and success metrics.

You will employ industry-standard methodologies and frameworks to develop solutions that enhance business processes, workflows, and lifecycle management, ensuring seamless integration into enterprise systems. You will lead the practice, setting the technical vision for solutions, educating clients on architecture considerations, estimating effort and resources, and advising on implementation strategies to facilitate development, integration, and deployment.

As a Trusted Advisor, you will guide Autodesk's customers through their digital transformation journeys. You will report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services Consulting. We support hybrid or remote hiring options.

Responsibilities

  1. Stay informed about emerging technology trends affecting clients.
  2. Document architecture and implementation processes for deploying solutions.
  3. Lead and mentor developers and third-party consultants.
  4. Create white papers on implementation strategies for Autodesk solutions adoption.
  5. Conduct workshops with stakeholders to understand challenges and gather requirements.
  6. Analyze gaps between requirements and platform capabilities.
  7. Define solution architectures (business, application, technology) to achieve desired outcomes.
  8. Validate architecture feasibility, including proof of concept development if necessary.
  9. Plan implementation, quality assurance, and deployment of complex solutions.
  10. Lead and mentor internal, customer, and third-party implementation teams.
  11. Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards.
  12. Document and present solutions to stakeholders.
  13. Travel up to 50% of the time.
  14. Possess experience in customer requirements management, application design, data modeling, database management, and solution development.
  15. Have working experience with cloud or web-based technologies, such as full-stack development (4+ years).
  16. Background in web front-end technologies like Angular, React, and Vue.js.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with Autodesk Platform Services APIs (formerly Autodesk Forge Platform).
  2. Experience with Autodesk APIs and technologies.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS services.
  4. Certifications such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL, AWS Solution Architect, or Azure Solution Architect.
  5. Understanding of data architecture concepts, including models, policies, and standards.
  6. Familiarity with NoSQL and Graph databases.
