About The Role

As the Product Manager for Higher Education, you will help drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Higher Education-specific functionalities in our LMS flagship product, ensuring its success in the market. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration with Technical Architects, Developers, and UX team members to define the roadmap, prioritize features, and drive end-to-end product development.

Beyond product lifecycle management, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to enable seamless productization, go-to-market strategies, and financial performance. The role will also require strong engagement with the broader Moodle community and partners as key stakeholders in this work.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the Chief Product Officer and Product Director to enact vision & strategy via the Roadmap
  • Coordinate development and roadmaps across product teams to manage dependencies and deliverables ensuring smooth product delivery
  • Use industry knowledge to strategically direct product development
  • Engage with community, customers, partners, and the broader market to identify trends, challenges, and ideas for solving problems
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure they have the information needed for viable solutions
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure success
  • Manage a high-performing, cross-functional team, promoting a culture of open communication and continuous improvement
  • Deliver on the roadmap and priorities using your full range of skills as a product professional

Requirements

We'd love to meet you if you can tell us about your :

  • Proven SaaS / Cloud Product Management expertise, ideally in edtech, with deep customer and market understanding
  • Leadership style - motivating teams, influencing stakeholders, driving collaboration
  • Problem-solving approach - balancing technical, commercial, and user needs
  • Data-driven decision-making, leveraging industry trends and analytics
  • Experience with Agile & roadmap practices - Scrum, prioritization, customer-centric development
  • Business acumen in aligning product strategy with financial and operational goals
