We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Controlling Analyst to support the financial management and reporting processes for the Engineering department. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate monthly closings, budget and forecast analysis, and compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Controlling, and Engineering, to ensure the integrity and completeness of financial data.

What you will do

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing for the Engineering department.
• Analyze actual results versus Budget and Reforecast; provide variance analysis and insights.
• Establish and maintain the Engineering P&L (Actual, Budget, Reforecast).
• Develop and implement a monthly reporting framework.
• Update financial systems such as Magnitude and OneStream for Engineering Controlling.
• Reconcile data between Engineering management tools and Magnitude.
• Contribute to the SAP S/4HANA implementation project for Engineering Controlling.
• Collaborate with the Horse Accounting and Controlling team to support monthly results and MTP (Mid-Term Plan) visibility.
• Ensure the robustness, integrity, and completeness of financial information.
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Support to the Engineering Controlling Manager

What we are looking for

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in financial controlling, preferably in an engineering or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems (SAP S/4HANA, Magnitude, OneStream).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
