For our customer, a European Leading Manufacturer, STANDBY is recruiting a Business Development Manager in Aftermarket Automotive located in Jordan, UAE, and Syria.

As a Business Development Manager in our automotive division, you are responsible for finding and cultivating new business opportunities and facilitating growth within a strong base of existing accounts. You will be part of the European sales organization and will be directly supported by the local customer service & distribution center. You will develop, together with the European sales team, the customer portfolio and strategy. You will collaborate closely with the international team and report to the Regional Sales Director.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the Jordan, UAE, and Syrian automotive aftermarket at regional and national levels is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position working for an international aftermarket supplier or automotive distributor as an account manager or in product management.
  • Technical background in automotive.
  • High enthusiasm, energy, and desire to succeed.
  • Data-oriented sales approach.
  • Comfortable with hunting for new business.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and proactive.
  • Proficient in MS Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Willing to travel (driving license B).
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Fluent in Arabic (speaking and writing).
