Scala Developer
Circa 80 K Euros + 10% Yearly Bonus
Hybrid - 2 days a week in Malaga Office

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Scala Engineer to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. This role is a key position for their backend team growth, from developing and enhancing to optimizing backend performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Familiarity with Dev Ops tools and practices, as we’re passionate about automation and efficient tooling.
2. Take pride in creating, building, and delivering high-quality, well-engineered solutions to complex challenges.
3. Adopt a holistic approach to problem-solving, ensuring the solution integrates seamlessly within the larger system.
4. Practical experience with commercial Scala and Functional Programming (candidates with relevant commercial backgrounds, such as Java, and some non-commercial Scala experience may also be considered).
5. Possess experience across the entire engineering lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
6. Experience building software which deploys to both on-premise and cloud environments.

Skills: We work with a range of technologies, and experience in some of the following areas will set you up for success: Scala, Akka, Monix, Cats, Spring Boot, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes.
