At LHH, we are seeking a Head of Security Architecture and Engineering for our client, a leading company with a strong global presence.

This strategic role involves leading a team of cybersecurity architects and specialists, ensuring security by design in technology projects, and aligning with the company's security strategy and risk profile.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

• Participate in management discussions on security technologies and controls.
• Lead and motivate a team of cybersecurity architects and engineers across multiple locations.
• Ensure team alignment with company goals, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards.
• Support professional development and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Sponsor strategic initiatives to enhance the company's security posture, leading projects from planning to execution.

Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering

• Provide strategic guidance on security design decisions.
• Develop and maintain security frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
• Own the roadmap for security controls in areas such as application security, identity and access management, ransomware resilience, and Zero Trust.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve security and operational efficiency.

Global Coordination

• Collaborate with teams across Europe and other regions for seamless communication.
• Work with various departments to implement global security strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure security architecture compliance with local regulations and policies.
• Lead risk management forums to identify and mitigate security threats.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience leading cybersecurity teams in multinational environments, with deep expertise in security architecture, engineering, and risk management. Strong coordination skills across geographically distributed teams and stakeholder engagement. Fluency in English (C1 level required); Spanish is a plus. Availability for on-call duties and occasional international travel.
