We’re looking for a Senior Monetization & Ad Operations Specialist to lead and scale our revenue operations across a growing network of premium and mid-tier publishers. This is a high-impact role for someone with proven experience in web monetization, Google Ad Manager MCM, and programmatic advertising, including header bidding strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the technical implementation, management, and optimization of Google Ad Manager (MCM) & other SSPs across multiple publisher accounts.
- Design and maintain header bidding solutions (Prebid.js and/or server-side), optimizing for latency, viewability, and yield performance.
- Analyze monetization performance metrics (eCPM, fill rate, RPM, viewability) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Establish and manage relationships with SSPs, DSPs, demand partners, and tech vendors.
- Oversee PMP deal structuring, troubleshooting, and optimization in collaboration with sales and demand teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless ad delivery, tag implementation, and reporting.
- Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting delivery issues, ad quality problems, or revenue drops.
- Monitor and enforce ad quality standards and compliance (e.g. Coalition for Better Ads, Google policies).
- Contribute to strategic decisions about monetization tools, ad stack evolution, and new ad formats (display, audio, video, native).
Requirements:- 4+ years of experience in ad operations and monetization, with a focus on web environments.
- Strong expertise in Google Ad Manager, including MCM (Multiple Customer Management), line item setup, targeting, and inventory rules.
- Advanced knowledge of header bidding setups (client-side via Prebid.js; server-side a plus).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, BigQuery) to extract and interpret monetization data.
- Experience working directly with publishers, media owners, or ad networks.
- Knowledge of ad verification, brand safety, latency, and privacy compliance best practices.
- Strong technical understanding of ad tags, macros, VAST/VPAID, and programmatic protocols.
- Experience with app monetization is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
