Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking an Integrated Solutions Engineer to join our Europe Integrated Solutions Team.

Initial comprehensive training, along with ongoing supervision and mentoring, will support the transition into this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing internal and external client relationships, assessing equipment requirements and costs, producing project management plans, overseeing project delivery and execution, managing successful installations, developing engineering documents, and commissioning projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work directly on selected complex and combined projects, typically lasting between 4 and 8 months.
  2. Participate in monthly calls for each project in the Iberia region, evaluating performance and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Develop general skills and related behaviors.
  4. Manage multiple projects at varying stages of execution.
  5. Provide training to colleagues and customers involved in each project.
  6. Perform assignments requiring trust and accuracy.
  7. Collaborate with account managers, customers, and prospects to meet equipment needs.
  8. Assess technical solutions with the line manager for commercial viability.
  9. Coordinate support resources to deliver projects within budget.
  10. Participate in customer site visits to design chemical dosing solutions, considering product, pressure, flow requirements, and site restrictions.
  11. Manage customer satisfaction and escalate concerns as needed.
  12. Coordinate proposal activity reports and develop engineering documentation.
  13. Meet or exceed activity and result targets.
  14. Contribute proactively to the Integrated Solutions Team, suggesting process improvements.

ITO – Process Requirements

  1. Review RFQs and clarify technical details with the Chemfeed lead or Account Manager.
  2. Generate scope documents and review client specifications.
  3. Produce working drawings and sketches.
  4. Request third-party installation quotes and determine material requirements.
  5. Prepare SAP-referenced item lists and costing sheets.
  6. Submit document packs, validate order scope, costs, and prices against offers.
  7. Obtain supplier quotes and confirm project payment routes.
  8. Address contractual issues, produce project costing sheets, and manage material requisitions.
  9. Coordinate site visits, produce drawings, and obtain approvals.
  10. Organize commissioning, produce RAMS, and manage site acceptance tests.
  11. Prepare final documentation, ensure deadlines are met, and organize training and invoicing.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in project management or engineering within water/process treatment, industrial plants, OEM chemical pumps, or instrumentation projects.
  • Experience with filtration units such as Reverse Osmosis.
  • Based in Spain or Portugal with the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the region.
  • EU driving license without restrictions.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and customer focus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage project data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for scope and commercial updates.
