Offer Description

The INCLIVA Foundation is a Health Research Institute accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute and is part of the public sector of the Generalitat Valenciana. It has private legal personality and is governed by private law.

It announces a position for a Research Technician (T3) Level 1, 17T (Senior Technician), for the research group in pathophysiology and biomarkers of sepsis (PROGNOSEP), under the supervision of Dr. José Luís García, funded through the AICO 2024 project (CIAICO 2023).

Job Responsibilities

  • Registration and traceability of all samples required by the project.
  • Processing biological samples for analysis of circulating histones and molecular biomarkers.
  • Cell sorting in blood samples.
  • Analysis of epigenetic biomarkers.
  • Biostatistical analysis.
  • Tasks aligned with the translational research project on epigenetic biomarkers in sepsis and septic shock.

Qualifications and Merits

Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree related to the position duties, with points awarded accordingly. Knowledge of English at levels B1 to C2, with points awarded based on proficiency. Professional experience with organoids, scientific publications, and courses in statistics are also evaluated. Additional points are awarded for disability certificates, victim of gender-based violence, and personal interview performance.

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
  • Physical and mental capability to perform duties, verified by a responsible statement.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Spain or relevant nationality.
  • Age requirements and no disqualifications from public sector employment, verified by responsible statements.
  • Previous employment status with INCLIVA, if applicable.
