Required Skills

• Expert knowledge and experience working with Java
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and practices
• Solid grasp of the full software development lifecycle
• Experience with design patterns and software architecture
• Excellent skills in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and bug fixing
• Ability to document code and architecture (e.g., Javadocs, UML)
• Effective collaboration and communication skills in a global team environment
• Quick learner of new mobile platforms, architectures, trends, and technologies
• Respect for user experience, design, and application performance
• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written (improving spoken English is acceptable)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Android development and published apps
• Experience building Android apps interacting with REST APIs
• Experience supporting at least one published Android app
• Skills in designing for various screen sizes and orientations
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development and device fragmentation issues
• Familiarity with unit testing for robustness and reliability
• Knowledge of version control systems (Perforce, Git, SVN)
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
