Job Description

Reporting to the Commercial Management of the company, this role manages and executes the commercial strategy of its subsidiary located in Álava with autonomy.

This is a comprehensive role requiring coordination of various agents such as suppliers, clients, operating systems, and primarily the human team.

A leading company in the distribution of products for the construction and renovation sector, currently expanding with presence in multiple locations nationwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement, in collaboration with management, the specific commercial strategy for each product and market segment in your geographic area, aligned with the overall commercial strategy.
  • Understand the market, stay updated on new trends, and propose improvements to position the company and achieve medium to long-term objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead the multidisciplinary human team.
  • Maintain constant communication and coordination with different departments: finance, sales, purchasing, DIY, warehouse.
  • Engage regularly with clients via various channels to understand their needs and close commercial agreements.
  • Execute commercial actions focused on business development: cross-selling, follow-ups, project management, information management, and process improvement ideas.
  • Establish profitable commercial agreements and actively participate in negotiations.
  • Coordinate training, support, and monitor the commercial team's objectives and customer service standards.
  • Handle and interpret available data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Plan and coordinate local and national trade fairs.

Candidate Profile

Looking for someone with:

  • Experience in leading teams, ideally in sales and distribution channels.
  • Experience in the construction materials sector is highly valued.
  • Clear commercial vocation and customer orientation. Eagerness to take on challenges.
  • Digital agility, especially in data extraction and analysis.
