AWS Cloud Security Specialist - 100% Remote

Position: Cloud Security Specialist

Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, particularly with AWS.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Cloud Security Management: Monitor, secure, and optimize AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and internal standards. Manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools like Sysdig or similar solutions.
2. Risk and Compliance: Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits. Ensure compliance with GRC frameworks and standards such as CIS and NIST.
3. Tool and Automation Integration: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and policy-as-code with Rego to improve security measures.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with security implementations.
• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards like NIST.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Python scripting and Rego for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
