What are we looking for?
We are seeking a MUREX SUPPORT REPORTING SPECIALIST, working closely with one of our main clients in the banking sector.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Support and serve the client and Development Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support teams with criteria and determination, monitoring development and testing evolution.
- Remove impediments and risks, actively participate in resolving issues or find personnel to do so.
- Facilitate process improvement, discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Contribute to communication and transparency within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Configure new processes in the Datamart module, including feeders, processing scripts, and table configurations.
- Configure PL/SQL procedures in the Exadata Database.
- Develop SQL queries for data consultation in Murex and Datamart tables.
- Create scripts in Shell/Unix scripting.
- Analyze and resolve incidents in data extractions.
Qualifications and experience:
Knowledge of financial products such as P&L and sensitivities, experience in multidisciplinary projects across countries, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Specific expertise in:
- Murex platform (version 3.1), including Distribution, Architecture, and Modules like DataMart.
- Programming languages: Unix Shell Scripts, Java, SQL/PLSQL, XML.
- DevOps tools: Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, Pipeline, Cloud (AWS).
- Monitoring platforms: DEVO, Dynatrace.
- Automation platforms: ControlM.
- English proficiency at C1 level.
Work location:
100% remote within Spain.
