Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven advanced knowledge in process simulation using commercial software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Hysys) is essential
  • Proven advanced knowledge in techno-economic and environmental analysis of processes is essential
  • Knowledge of python and machine learning techniques (e.g., Python libraries such as Keras, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, etc.) and other techniques related to the position will be valued
  • Knowledge of advanced biocompound extraction techniques (microwave and ultrasound) from agri-food wastes will be valued.

  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Chemistry

Eligibility criteria

In a first phase, the requirements related to the degree (essential Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Chemistry), computer skills, and the required language (essential Spanish level C1 or native language; high level of english will be valued) will be assessed. If necessary, interviews may be conducted with the candidates to evaluate their transversal skills and suitability for the project tasks.

The scoring will be : 25 points for the degree, 20 points for the language, 30 points for computer skills (simulation, techno-economic and environmental analysis, Python, and machine learning), 15 points for extraction techniques, and 10 points for transversal skills
