SO / Sotogrande, a luxury hotel in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and motivating our restaurant staff.

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high customer satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to maintain SO / Sotogrande's high standards of service
  • Manage staff scheduling, assignments, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain menu knowledge and assist with food and wine pairings
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs while maintaining quality
  • Implement and maintain SO / Sotogrande's luxury hospitality standards
  • Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant area

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in luxury dining establishments
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing
  • Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools
  • Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Food Safety Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required
  • Knowledge of Spanish and international cuisine
  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and practices
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
