We are seeking a talented Data Center Site Manager to lead and manage our data center operations. You will oversee the operations and maintenance of our data centre infrastructure, involving hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair. Your primary objectives will include ensuring the successful delivery of new data center builds within timelines and managing Coreweave’s cloud platforms to meet service levels.

The salary range for this position is 55,000 EUR to 75,000 EUR, plus a bonus and competitive benefits. Compensation depends on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Location: This is a 100% onsite position at our Data Center in Rivabellosa, Spain.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of data centre technicians in daily operations, including server maintenance, equipment installation, and troubleshooting.
  2. Develop and implement best practices for data centre operations to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support client projects and ensure seamless service delivery.
  4. Perform regular inspections and audits of data centre equipment to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
  5. Respond promptly to technical issues and emergencies, minimizing downtime and disruption.
  6. Collaborate with the Data Centre Manager, proactively addressing operational issues.
  7. Provide weekly updates on successes, issues, and challenges to the Data Centre Manager.
  8. Work with management on strategic initiatives to improve performance and scalability.
  9. Manage shift rotas and on-call patterns for Data Centre Technicians.
  10. Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with technicians.
  11. Ensure tools and equipment, including PPE, are in good condition.
  12. Review equipment installation and removal to uphold standards.
  13. Train and mentor junior technicians to develop their skills.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years in data centre operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  2. Deep knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking, and cooling systems.
  3. Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  4. Networking experience.
  5. Familiarity with data centre management tools and software.
  6. Ability to work in shift patterns and participate in on-call support.
  7. Physical ability to lift up to 22kg and work in elevated locations.
