Omega CRM is a Merkle & Dentsu company, a leader in Customer Experience services with over 20 years of experience in technology applied to marketing and customer relationship management, focusing on innovation. We are looking for a Salesforce Release Manager.
We seek an innovative leader for this role, responsible for evangelization within the development team. The role includes establishing repository logic and inspiring the team on collaborative practices. You will oversee the Release Management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and deployment within budget and schedule.
Main responsibilities :
- Plan release schedules and lifecycle.
- Develop implementation and deployment plans according to schedules.
- Communicate project tasks, plans, timelines, and requirements across teams.
- Assist in project management to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Define and structure repositories with appropriate tools.
- Maintain version control and configuration management processes.
- Create and maintain CI / CD pipelines, promoting automation for efficiency.
- Promote best practices in collaborative development and repository use.
- Conduct training and workshops to enhance team skills.
- Maintain documentation on procedures, notifications, and dependencies.
- Ensure environment consistency between development and production.
- Collaborate with operations on configuration management strategies.
- Adapt to various technologies flexibly.
- Manage multiple projects and clients effectively.
- Proactively address challenges and opportunities.
- Lead and train a team of junior release managers.
- Foster professional growth and best practices in release management.
- Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure repository consistency and efficiency.
- Experience in code review within Salesforce environment.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
Required Experience :
- High proficiency in English.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Proven repository implementation and maintenance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of pipelines and automation (desired).
- Strong communication and presentation skills for evangelization and training.
- Openness to adopting new technologies.
- Experience in Salesforce development, admin, DevOps, and release management.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DX, metadata deployment, Metadata API, SF CLI.
- Experience with Git, branching strategies, Jenkins, GitLab pipelines.
- Ability to automate on Force.com and build CI / CD solutions.
