We are seeking a passionate and creative Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. You will work closely with senior pastry chefs to develop new menu items and maintain smooth daily operations in the pastry section.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked items.

Support the Chef de Partie and Pastry Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and pastry production.

Ensure consistent product quality in taste, texture, and presentation according to set standards.

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Pastry Chef.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and storage areas.

Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or spoilage to senior chefs.

Uphold food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Assist in training and mentoring junior team members and kitchen apprentices.

Collaborate with the wider culinary team during service to ensure seamless execution.

Stay updated on pastry trends and contribute creative ideas to enhance the dessert menu.

Qualifications & Experience :

Certificate or diploma in Patisserie or Culinary Arts (preferred).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a pastry or bakery role within a professional kitchen.

Strong understanding of baking techniques, dessert preparation, and pastry tools.

A keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for pastry arts.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
