Accounting Specialist

Reporting to the Head of Administration and Treasury and based in Madrid, the main mission of the ISDI Accounting Specialist will be to correctly manage the accounting of the different ISDI Group companies assuring the accounting principles, legal and tax requirements are properly met.

The candidate will work closely with the rest of the Administration and Finance team to conciliate the different accounts and apply policies, procedures and accounting controls. The person will take part in different projects to develop ISDI’s accounting system.

Key tasks :

• General accounting (financial and analytical) of the different ISDI Group entities (book entries, provisions, accounts analysis…)
• Prepare the monthly and annual accounting reports.
• Issuing and accounting of invoices to national and international B2B and B2C customers as well as any other invoicing required between companies.
• Manage the different suppliers and prepare their payments.
• Conciliate the Balance Sheet and bank accounts.
• Prepare tax settlements and SII.
• Support the team with auditing documentation.
• Support the inter-company conciliation processes.
• Support the Finance and Administration area in the different day to day tasks.

Requirements :

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or similar (CFGS).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong accounting and tax regulations knowledge.
• Experience with accounting ERPs (Dynamics 365, Navision, or others).
• Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and medium English level preferred.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, cultures, and seniority levels.
• Agility to develop and improve accounting processes.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Eager to work in a small and lean startup, but ambitious enough to help scale it into a big operation
