Job Opportunity at Aqualia: Plant Operator

Responsibilities

  1. Perform maintenance tasks due to machinery faults or deterioration (disassembling pumps and motors, changing membranes, welding, etc.).
  2. Commission new installations (chlorinators, reagent pumps, etc.).
  3. Carry out preventive maintenance (cleaning raw, settled, and treated water filters, checking compressor and pump levels, lubricating motors and pumps, etc.).
  4. Control the water treatment process and water quality.
  5. Organize and clean the workshop.
  6. Maintain tools and equipment, and take care of the outdoor area (painting, gardening, etc.).
  7. Assist plant personnel with various tasks, such as collecting samples for laboratory analysis on holidays.
  8. Clean tanks and decanters.
  9. Perform any additional tasks necessary for the role.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Academic background: FP/Grado medio/Técnico in water networks and treatment stations.
  • Specific knowledge: Medium-level electromechanical maintenance and operation.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years in machinery maintenance tasks.
