THE ROLE

This role will be a critical middle-level position, supporting a senior member of the Construction & Procurement Team. Based in Spain or Italy, the role will support both Construction and Procurement functions, from early project development (concept) to contract negotiations with EPC Contractors, and overseeing project execution for the Project Delivery Team and Technical Advisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support management and execution of the Project Construction pipeline across Europe (Iberia and Italy), LATAM, and North America.
  • Assist senior team members in managing the Project delivery pipeline.
  • Coordinate with external Contractors and stakeholders, with oversight from senior management.
  • Manage the Technical Advisor's work, ensuring alignment and technical oversight across project stages.
  • Lead weekly meetings with Contractors to monitor progress, resolve issues, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Coordinate workflows and information exchange between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Investment Management, Construction, and Procurement Teams to achieve business objectives, delivering sustainable, risk-adjusted returns while upholding the Group’s values.
  • Support project delivery from initial development through our development company Starlight to onboarding with Asset Management - Wise.
  • Provide expertise in early-stage project development, working with internal and external partners.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and/or other European languages, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility and team-oriented approach.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to delve into topics and bring new ideas.
  • IT literacy, including interest in AI and technology integration into projects.
  • Proactive delivery focus with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and our mission to transition to clean energy.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some experience post-university in Investment, Development, or Contracting environments, ready for career advancement.
  • Experience in negotiations with external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and prioritize critical tasks.
  • Experience within Investment organizations or transferable experience from EPC, Development, or Contracting environments.
  • 2-3 years in project management, commercial management, investment, or asset management roles.
