Senior Frontend Developer

IO Interactive is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Developer to join our team.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge web applications. We are looking for someone who is not only an expert in web development but also a versatile generalist, eager to explore and master new technologies and tools.

What you will do:

1. Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications.
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
3. Take ownership of the entire feature development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
4. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
5. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
6. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web development and bring new ideas to the team.
7. Proactively identify and tackle technical challenges, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Who you are:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Extensive experience in web development.
3. Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
4. Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries.
5. Familiarity with back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
6. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers.
7. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code with a strong emphasis on software engineering best practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
9. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
