A Day in the Life

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead distribution operations in the Iberia region, directly impacting patient care. With responsibility for two key sites and collaboration across EMEA leadership, it combines regional influence with international scope. The position emphasizes innovation through Lean Six Sigma, operational excellence, and team development, making it ideal for a seasoned leader eager to drive performance and patient-first results in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

You are expected to work on-site 4 days per week. You will be reporting to the Senior Director EMEA Deliver Operations and covering the Iberia region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Site leader, provide strategic and tactical leadership to Alcala DC and the Benfica Spine Loaner Operation (appr. 55 FTE).
• Serve patients in the Iberia region. Ensure Put Patients First (PPF) in everything we do.
• Represent Deliver in the extended Iberia leadership team.
• Collaborate in the EMEA Deliver leadership team. Cascade the EMEA Deliver strategy within the site.
• Ensure best in class performance related to safety, quality, service and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement by deploying Medtronic Performance System and using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Build high performing team.

Required Knowledge and Experience :

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Logistics / SC Management and / or Engineering
• At least 7+ years of experience in international distribution
• 5+ years managerial experience
• In depth IT-knowledge (ERP / WMS, data reporting)
• Lean Six Sigma
• Broad supply chain knowledge
