Job Description SummaryThe purpose of this position is to support employees and managers through coaching, guidance, advice, training, and counseling on issues related to employee wellbeing, engagement, and performance management. This role also ensures adherence to all relevant employment legislation and promotes good practices in people management. Additionally, it involves creating and maintaining constructive dialogue with the Works Council and Unions to establish a positive social climate.
Job Responsibilities- Providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Managing disciplinary proceedings, grievance hearings, and appeals.
- Conducting investigations into workplace complaints or misconduct allegations.
- Administering redundancy processes, including consultation meetings and selection procedures.
- Supporting line managers in performance management processes, including advice on formal procedures such as capability and disciplinary actions where appropriate.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and strategies.
- Monitoring staff absence and attendance to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Organizing and delivering training sessions and workshops on HR topics.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation, including employee files and personnel data systems.
- Working with local Works Councils to reach mutually beneficial agreements on wages, benefits, and working conditions.
About You- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in law, HR, or psychology. Master's level or equivalent experience in HR.
- Background in labor or employment law with 5-10 years of HR experience.
- Fluent in English.
