Backend Software Engineer — Connected Vehicles (Go / Cloud / Automotive)

Join a pioneering team reshaping the future of electric off-road mobility! We’re looking for Backend Software Engineers with strong Golang and system design experience to help develop seamless, high-performance software that connects vehicles, cloud platforms, and mobile apps.

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about vehicle connectivity, modern backend architecture, and wants to work on real-time systems in the automotive domain.

Project Overview

You’ll be building and maintaining the core backend software layer that powers:

1. Vehicle-to-cloud and cloud-to-mobile communication
2. OTA (over-the-air) updates
3. Telematics and data collection
4. Authentication and secure APIs

You’ll work alongside infotainment UI, mobile, and embedded teams to deliver a tightly integrated digital driving experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience in Golang, ideally in the automotive or embedded systems space
• 7+ years of professional software development overall
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with Gin, Echo, or similar frameworks
• Strong grasp of gRPC, JWT, OAuth2, RBAC
• Proficient with C / C++
• Deep knowledge of architecture, design patterns, testing, and CI / CD best practices
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and communicate clearly in a collaborative setting

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, scalable backend services in Go
• Deliver high-quality features and enhancements quickly
• Build and consume gRPC APIs for real-time systems
• Follow TDD and embrace continuous code quality via code reviews
• Create tech specs, delivery plans, and roadmap input
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, embedded & mobile teams
• Act as a technical leader on backend topics and support continuous improvement
