Técnico/a de Mantenimiento para Plantas Fotovoltaicas

Job Description

Veolia Solar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for solar plants to perform maintenance on assigned solar facilities in the province of Almeria, specifically in Huercal-Overa, Almeria, with support to plants in the province of Murcia. Occasionally, support to the new works department across the national territory will be required.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventive maintenance on various components of the plants: module inspections, structural checks, testing (IV curves, insulation, thermography, etc.), and maintenance of photovoltaic transformation centers.
2. Diagnose and resolve faults (modules, module strings, CC and CA boxes, BT meters, communication failures within the plant network, and inverter-meter communication systems).
3. Possess essential knowledge of computer networks and basic commands for managing/configuring equipment such as routers, gateways, Moxa devices, etc.
4. Conduct maintenance tasks on the plots, such as clearing brush, etc.

Qualifications:

• Serious individual eager to work and contribute their value to the company.
• Valuable knowledge and experience in Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks, router configuration, gateways, etc.
• Experience in maintaining photovoltaic plants, including tasks described for the position.

Other valued but not essential requirements:

• Experience with Ingeteam or Siel inverters.
• Experience in other sectors performing electrical, network, or communication maintenance tasks.
• Experience with medium voltage operations for photovoltaic plants and maintenance of transformation centers.
