What will you do :

• Manage a distributed team focused on Auth0’s AI Authentication initiatives, comprising talented engineers.
• Participate hands-on in solutions, coding, reviewing, and architectural decisions.
• Ensure the technical implementation and resiliency of our Auth for GenAI solutions.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Improve product architecture, security controls, and best practices.
• Assess and refine engineering processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work.
• Provide context and guidance for team tasks.
• Handle people activities like coaching, 1 : 1s, and performance reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with AI Agents and understanding of the problem space.
• Proven leadership of highly technical teams and coaching skills.
• Ability to balance independent problem-solving with providing guidance.
• Focus on achieving team goals effectively.
• Technical background to evaluate trade-offs.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for good engineering practices and testing.
• Autonomous work style with the ability to seek support when needed.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, ownership, and drive.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
• Knowledge of architectural principles across infrastructure, security, data, and application layers.

Bonus points for :

• Deep understanding of IAM concepts.
• Experience with Node.js and AWS.
• Building highly reliable, scalable systems.
