Job Responsibilities
- Support the Shift Supervisor in organizing, supervising, and documenting production processes, considering all relevant aspects of Safety, Environment, and Equipment Reliability.
- Manage shift personnel, ensuring compliance with organizational norms and regulations.
- Supervise and support safety measures on-site, ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements, including Work Permits, LOTO (Lock-Out/Tag-Out).
- Support maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
- Facilitate communication among team members regarding safety, environmental, or production incidents.
- Participate and propose improvements related to safety, reliability, production, and maintenance (MoC).
- Support project startups, plant modifications, and scheduled maintenance shutdowns to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution.
- Collaborate on technical procedures, defining process parameters to guarantee safe and reliable plant operation, and coordinate with direct supervisor on organizational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification: CFGS in Electricity, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Chemistry, or similar; engineering degrees in chemical, electrical, or electronic fields are valued.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Plant Operator in an Industrial Chemical Plant, managing Boilers, Gas and Steam Turbines, Water Treatment (Resins or Reverse Osmosis), Ammonia Compressors (Refrigeration Plant), Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Laboratory Analysis (pH, Conductivity, Chlorine Residuals).
- Authorized personnel for electrical risk work per RD 614/2001.
- Proactive, team management skills, dynamic, resolutive, open-minded.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issues.
- Adaptability to change.
- Safety training in Occupational Risk Prevention is valued.
- Driving license for forklifts and Boiler Operator license (P*V>50) are valued.
- Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
