Job Overview

The Strategic Risk Services Team Leader will oversee the operations of our teams that assist Accertify’s clients. They will lead and motivate the team of Fraud Analysts to work efficiently and comply with all regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate fraud trends and insights to peers, leadership, and stakeholders for anti-fraud process and system enhancements.
  • Review client transactions to identify fraud trends and manage queues effectively.
  • Assist in data analysis for ongoing client risk model adjustments.
  • Provide consistent QA support to clients and internal analysts, including report generation.
  • Collaborate on special projects for clients with various daily activities.
  • Document current procedures and processes within the department.
  • Oversee the performance management of direct reports, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate employee schedules for optimal client support.
  • Conduct regular monthly training sessions for team growth and development.
  • Lead and mentor approximately 10-15 direct reports, fostering their growth.
  • Monitor targeted metrics and take necessary actions to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers and Strategic Risk Services leadership to share fraud trends and best practices.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with the team and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize customer needs in decision-making.
  • Plan shifts, rotations, and staff leave tailored to individual client requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong desire for a fraud career with at least 2 years at Accertify & 5 years of overall experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented approach with exceptional customer service capabilities.
  • Confidence in making instinctual decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Preference for fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to adapt and manage multiple assignments independently.
  • Adherence to company data protection policies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a fraud prevention function is preferred.

Additional Details

This role is located on-site in our Madrid, Spain, Accertify Location: C / Albacete 5, 7 28027 Madrid. Team Leaders must work on-site four days a week and be flexible to work a rotational schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and as required for shift coverage.
