We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, a leader in the banking sector.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8 or higher.
2. Work with modern enterprise frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
3. Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
4. Design and develop autonomous, service-oriented RESTful APIs.
5. Work with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in a hands-on manner.
6. Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystems.
• Experience with enterprise frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
