What we offer

We invite applications for a part-time teaching position at the Bioengineering Bachelor’s Degree at UIC, starting September 2025. Remuneration will depend on the candidate’s profile and experience.

What we are looking for

Seeking a part-time lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience:

  • Degree (preferably PhD) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Enjoyment and experience in teaching similar courses.
  • Ability to teach in English.

The candidate must be able to teach at least one of the following courses:

The Basics and Electronic Systems (2nd year, 1st semester)

  • Physical fundamentals of electricity
  • Circuit theory
  • Elements of circuit theory
  • Semiconductor diode
  • Rectifying circuits
  • Transistor
  • Operational amplifier
  • Filters

Signals and Systems Theory (2nd year, 2nd semester)

  • Analog and digital signals
  • Sinusoidal signals
  • Sampling of signals
  • Convolution and correlation
  • Fourier Transform
  • Time-frequency representation

Neuroscience Applied to Orthoprosthesis (3rd year, 1st semester)

  • Molecular and cellular neuroscience

Computing, Robotics and Bionics 1 (3rd year, 1st semester)

  • Classical Machine Learning
  • Brain function and neuroprosthetics

Computing, Robotics and Bionics 2 (3rd year, 2nd semester)
