Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer (>5 years of experience) for our R&D center in Massalfassar (Valencia). This is a full-time, on-site position.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will design and develop electronic circuits for various industrial and consumer products, lead junior hardware engineers, and support bringing products into production, including validation and certification processes to ensure EMC and electrical safety compliance. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and have opportunities for professional growth in a creative, flexible, and continuous learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital electronic circuits for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to transition designs into mass production.
• Support validation and certification processes according to relevant standards (EMC, electrical safety).
• Prepare documentation and assist in product industrialization.
• Support firmware development if knowledgeable in embedded C programming.

Requirements

• Technical or higher engineering degree.
• 5+ years experience in electronic design.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• Experience with electronic circuit design software.
• Proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written).

Additional skills valued

• Experience with version control systems (SVN, GIT).
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Kanboard).
• Experience with schematic and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of standards like EN60335, EN60601, EN61851, EN50155.
• Firmware development experience for microcontrollers (C language).
• Experience with Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, RTOS, HMI, server applications, EV charging systems, motor control, and international work experience.
