Position: Production Engineer and Continuous Improvement

We are seeking a Production Engineer and Continuous Improvement Specialist for our Sabiñánigo manufacturing plant. You will support the Production Manager in organizing all manufacturing operations of our products.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate in managing, training, and developing assigned personnel to optimize resources.
  2. Support continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean manufacturing principles to maximize costs, quality, service, and employee satisfaction.
  3. Ensure process improvements through teamwork, with high involvement, participation, and satisfaction of the team.
  4. Guarantee the quality of the manufactured product, meeting customer requirements through continuous improvement and cost minimization.
  5. Achieve departmental objectives set by the company.
  6. Cooperate with the QA department to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
  7. Manage non-conformities related to EHS and QA within the section.
  8. Participate in EHS programs and risk analysis of your area.
  9. Encourage idea generation for improvements (VIPs, Kaizen, CIPA).
  10. Verify the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery, promoting repairs as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or similar.
  • Experience in continuous improvement in manufacturing, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Medium-high level of spoken and written English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office suite.
  • Adaptive capacity to perform diverse activities.
