At ING, we are looking for a Process & Data Specialist - Investment Back Office.

Your role and work environment:

We seek a talented Investment Products Process & Data Specialist to join our Investment Expert Team of Products Tribe (COO Domain). Our goal is to develop and control investment product processes in a simple and efficient manner, while ensuring a fun work environment.

In this role, you will develop and oversee processes for investment products, focusing on the E2E Customer Journey—from acquisition and onboarding to ongoing customer experience. Your aim is to improve operational efficiency, identify opportunities, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Main product lines include brokerage, mutual funds, and pension plans.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team providing customer service support, helping achieve targets such as productivity and turnaround times.
  • Monitor end-to-end processes, ensure their operation, detect technical issues, and seek solutions based on data analysis.
  • Identify customer needs and propose appropriate product configurations using your expertise.
  • Investigate incidents using regulatory and compliance systems, and resolve immediate issues.
  • Analyze operational data to generate insights, create reports (MicroStrategy, Excel, PowerPoint), and support decision-making.
  • Challenge and improve current operational and customer processes.
  • Measure KPIs, analyze trends, and seek improvements to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to detect incidents, report issues, track processes, and implement improvements.

Ensure maximum customer protection and compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., CNMV).

What are we looking for?

We value a proactive, enthusiastic individual who is collaborative, innovative, and eager to challenge the status quo. You should be a team player who communicates effectively, solves problems, and takes initiative.

  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills tailored to different audiences.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to propose improvements.
  • Decisiveness and accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for innovation.

Proven experience and qualifications:

  • University degree.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in banking operations, preferably with investment products (mutual funds preferred).
  • Advanced Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Language requirement: Strong command of written and spoken English.

What do we offer?

We provide a flexible work environment, health and life insurance, a flexible remuneration model, company shuttle services, special loan and mortgage conditions, a pension plan, and various wellness initiatives.

Join us to be part of a diverse, innovative team committed to sustainability and employee well-being. If you see yourself aligning with our values and way of working, we look forward to meeting you!
