Talent Acquisition Specialist (Product & Technology)

You will be responsible for scaling, automation, and optimizing HBX data governance policies and processes across the entire data lifecycle.

This role is a key contributor to delivering and successfully executing the Data Governance Roadmap. You will be actively involved in creating the company's data quality foundations by developing and delivering technical solutions related to :

• Data Governance & Management policies as code
• Automatic Data Observability and Quality metrics implementation
• Automation of Data Policies and Procedures
• Automation of Data Security processes and controls

Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Head of Data Governance Office, this role will be responsible for :

• Designing and implementing automatic Data Governance policies and procedures, detecting bad practices, and preventing data quality issues across various data layers and phases of the data lifecycle
• Designing and implementing automatic Data Management policies , procedures, and controls (policy as code) to prevent data misuse
• Designing and implementing automatic Data Quality validation, metrics, and controls
• Designing and implementing automatic Data Observability alerts & workflows
• Collaborating with Data Governance Enterprise Architect to design the optimal data architecture & infrastructure for governed, high-quality data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL, Python, and AWS technologies
• Building and deploying Data Governance tools to support Data Analysts and Data Scientists in developing innovative products

Skills

Education :

• Master's Degree in BI & Data Analytics, Big Data

Experience :

• Proficiency in Python (libraries, packages) and working with various databases for enterprise applications and ML
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Data Security management (encryption, GDPR, PCI, secrets, SSO, MFA)
• Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes to improve business operations
• Experience in automating and administering data systems
• Strong analytical skills with structured and unstructured datasets

Technical Skills :

• Managing Cloud Data Warehouse Platforms : Snowflake or similar
• Programming : SQL, Python, RestAPI
• Data Ingestion / ETL tools : Airflow, Snowpipe, or similar
• Data Transformation : dbt or similar
• Data management & Governance platforms : Collate / Open Metadata, Collibra, Infosphere, Montecarlo, Informatica
• Visualization Tools : Tableau or similar
• Version Control : Bitbucket, GitLab, GitHub
• Documentation : Atlassian Confluence or similar

Day-to-day activities :

• Managing the HBX Data Platform Stack's security, user roles, permissions, and policies
• Implementing automated data governance policies and controls to prevent bad data practices
• Designing detective controls and alerts across tools and processes
• Ensuring data platform connectivity and governance via API
• Implementing data security policies in compliance with regulations like GDPR
• Supporting full data lifecycle management in line with retention policies
