Several positions are now open in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for different Space business: Launchers (Ariane6, Vega-C, and Vega-E), Earth Exploration (Copernicus missions and PAZ-2), Space Exploration (Artemis), and Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). In accordance with the proven candidate skills, she/he will be part of the Operations team supported by the relevant Team Leader.

Missions and activities

The Technician is part of the Production Tests Team. Under supervision of the Production Tests Team Leader, the Technician is responsible for updating test procedures, executing tests, and reporting at the board/equipment level.

  1. Test procedures: For each verification test activity conducted at the board/equipment level, test procedures shall be updated describing the test objectives, configuration, setups, instrumentation steps, and success criteria. These procedures are derived from the Test Plan prepared by the Technical Manager.
  2. Test execution: The Test technician shall prepare jigs and tooling fixtures. Test execution will be performed in collaboration with senior technicians or test engineers. This work requires high concentration, careful handling, and often must meet tight schedules, sometimes requiring evening shifts or weekend work.
  3. Test reporting: After each verification activity, a report shall be submitted describing results, comparing parameters with requirements, and assessing whether objectives were met.

Education and background requirements

Degree in Vocational Training

Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware testing and reporting at the component board level in space, aircraft, or military fields. Skills in handling hardware are required.

This role requires awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, supporting the company's success and reputation.
