Job Outline

We’re looking for a creative marketer to join us on our mission of building a pan-European investment market for startups and private companies.

Reporting to our Head of International Marketing, you’ll be part of an international team focused on increasing Crowdcube’s visibility in Spain and positioning the platform as the go-to source for community fundraising in the country.

You’ll also work closely with our commercial team to define our growth and acquisition strategy for private Spanish companies looking to use Crowdcube to raise funds, while also educating and informing people interested in investing in innovative growth companies.

Who we are

As a leading European retail investment marketplace, Crowdcube raises finance for Europe's high-growth businesses by giving investors the opportunity to back startups they believe in. With over 1 million investors funding more than 1,000 businesses, Crowdcube was named the most active investor in private equity in 2020.

Founded in 2011, our mission is to democratise investment and support entrepreneurs who dream big and aim to make a difference. We have funded over 1,000 campaigns globally, including brands like Monzo, Brewdog, and what3words. In Spain, we have collaborated with over 100 companies, raising over €50M since 2014.

What you will be doing

  1. Develop Crowdcube’s Spanish content strategy to educate and attract startups and investors.
  2. Design and implement a plan to increase visibility in Spain across relevant social media channels.
  3. Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to align strategies and brand positioning, providing support and assets as needed.
  4. Identify and coordinate presence at relevant industry events.
  5. Set measurable goals for marketing efforts in Spain, monitor progress, and establish a process for continuous improvement.

Ideally you will have

  • At least three years of experience in a similar role, focusing on content-driven growth strategies.
  • Native-level Spanish skills and excellent English proficiency.
  • Strong communication, creativity, and innovative thinking skills.
  • A proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with startups, B2B, or SaaS businesses.
  • Interest or knowledge of the Spanish VC industry and tech ecosystem (preferred but not required).

What we are offering

We invest in our team’s development through training, conferences, and online courses. Our benefits include:

  • 25 days holiday plus public holidays
  • Access to mental health and learning platforms with a €1000 annual budget for training and wellness
  • Regular team demos, meetings, and social activities
  • Office perks such as snacks, fitness classes, and weekly beers

Our interview process involves an initial phone screen, a task based on real work scenarios, and final interviews. We value diversity and are committed to equal opportunity employment. Our flexible working policy, Cuber Choice, allows employees to tailor their work schedules to their needs, whether remote or in-office, focusing on impact rather than presenteeism.

Our core values

  • Multistakeholder: Dedication to customers, shareholders, employees, and communities.
  • Mindful: Respect, active listening, and attention to detail.
  • Driven by Excellence: Passion for our mission and customer success.
