EMC Engineer Aerospace Defence MF

Currently, for the Aeronautics & Defence sector, we are seeking profiles with experience in EMC.

Functions

• Qualification of equipment.
• Review of documentation related to the EMC aspects of the equipment.
• Developing technical documentation on EMC management, requiring suppliers or system managers to certify the equipment for the project's technical documentation.
• Analyze the position and operation of potentially EMC-emitting and susceptible systems/equipment within the project.
• Conduct electromagnetic compatibility studies following regulations and instructions from the supervisor.
• Perform analyses and tests to ensure equipment operates correctly without electromagnetic interference.
• Define EMC requirements and applicable regulatory documentation, including testing needs for validation.
• Develop design, test, and validation activities related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

Profile

• Knowledge of EMC principles and regulations.
• Good understanding of EMC regulations, especially D0160G and MILSTD461E.
• Knowledge of power calculations, transmission losses, and communication systems.
• Ability to interpret regulations to analyze and extract requirements.
