What will you do?

  • Play and test games, identifying linguistic bugs and reporting them using bug databases, ensuring clear communication in English.
  • Work full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00 am, onsite at our Madrid office.
  • Ensure games and applications provide an optimal user experience by maintaining linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Follow Universally Speaking's established LQA processes and standards.
  • Use bug databases to write detailed reports and ensure bugs are fixed correctly.
  • Own the bug fixing process from reporting to verification.
  • Become an LQA Expert across various projects, developing specializations.
  • Create and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers during requirement gathering to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and increase work efficiency.
  • Work closely with the QA team.

  • Continuous learning and improvement of LQA workflows.

You are a great match if you :

  • Are proficient in Thai and English.
  • Have a passion for video games.
  • Are a team player capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Are proactive, persistent, and enthusiastic.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.
  • Are proficient with computers, MS Office, and database handling.
  • Have the right to work in Spain (no sponsorship provided).

Optional skills that are a plus but can be taught :

  • Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Familiarity with LQA tools and software.
  • Knowledge of CAT tools like MemoQ.
  • Understanding of the video game industry and trends.
  • Higher degree in linguistics (desirable).

We offer a fixed-term contract, training, and opportunities for skill development. The position is onsite at our Madrid office in Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados. Salary ranges from €17,000 to €19,000 annually, depending on experience.
