Job Purpose And Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities including Key Account management responsibilities. Participate in cluster budgeting and implement the sales policy.
Fundamentals of the Position
- Focus 80% on the commercial development of customer relationships.
- Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your sector with your supervisor.
- Develop effective business plans for key customers.
- Achieve sales and margin targets as per budget.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new profitable business opportunities.
- Understand and communicate Dawn's capabilities to customers.
- Manage assigned accounts effectively and profitably.
- Continuously improve industry knowledge.
- Develop internal relationships across departments such as Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
- Provide timely feedback for personal and team development.
- Conduct sales analysis and prepare reports and sales funnel updates.
- Complete weekly and monthly reports promptly and concisely.
- Coordinate with other departments within Dawn Foods.
- Provide management with regular reports and insights.
- Promote company products at trade shows and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with NPD and marketing teams on new product development.
- Manage overhead expenses including promotional funding and samples.
- Operate cost-effectively.
- Research markets, customers, and competitors, and report findings.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Required Qualifications and Education
- Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
- Proficiency with MS Office (intermediate level) and Salesforce.
- Ability to travel as needed, including flying, driving, and overnight stays.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Bakery Industry.
