At Laagam, we are hiring a JUNIOR ACCESSORIES & SHOES DESIGNER to join our creative team. Reporting directly to the Creative Director and Product Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all accessory designs align with the Creative Direction and authentically reflect Laagam's core values and DNA.

This role will lead the development of accessories categories (bags, small leather goods, belts, footwear, etc.), working closely with the MAIN COLLECTION DESIGN TEAM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design & Development
• Create detailed technical drawings using Illustrator.
• Build 3D mock-ups; explore volumes, details, and finishes.
• Define color palettes for each collection.
• Coordination & Follow-up
• Oversee prototype development with suppliers and workshops.
• Coordinate with pattern makers to ensure technical feasibility.
• Contribute to updating moodboards and collection boards.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong experience in accessory and footwear design, with an emphasis on premium materials and construction.
• Technical knowledge of pattern making, prototyping, and all stages of the accessory and footwear production process.
• Familiarity with materials, components, and suppliers relevant to premium accessory development.
• Understanding of product testing standards, including lab testing requirements for durability and quality assurance.
• High attention to craftsmanship, quality control, and detail-oriented design execution.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and IA.
• Strong time management skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Ability to collaborate across international teams and adapt to cross-cultural workflows.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach.
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and innovation in materials is a plus.
