Our client is a global leader in sustainability and industrial machinery, working with major Fortune 100 companies. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Services Technician to join their team in Madrid.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide installation, service, and troubleshooting support on industrial machinery and automated systems at company and customer sites worldwide.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers.
  • Coordinate scheduling of service jobs.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Create quotes and work orders for service jobs, spare parts, and accessories.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager on warranty jobs, capturing costs and identifying root causes.
  • Promote company services and technology.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's systems and equipment.
  • Draft and implement service agreement contracts with customers.
  • Use monitoring tools to proactively oversee customer equipment.
  • Perform outbound calls to check on equipment performance and preempt issues.
  • Maintain logs of customer equipment issues.
  • Pack and ship spare parts orders.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and product development teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical training.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and Google Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using technical methodologies.
  • Professional in resolving customer issues and creating value.
  • Effective at prioritizing and scheduling tasks.
  • Culturally adaptable and motivated to learn and add value.
  • Treats others with sensitivity, dignity, and honesty.
  • Capable of working effectively with engineers and managers at customer sites.
