Our client is a global leader in sustainability and industrial machinery, working with major Fortune 100 companies. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Services Technician to join their team in Madrid.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide installation, service, and troubleshooting support on industrial machinery and automated systems at company and customer sites worldwide.
Conduct training sessions for customers.
Coordinate scheduling of service jobs.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Create quotes and work orders for service jobs, spare parts, and accessories.
Collaborate with the Quality Manager on warranty jobs, capturing costs and identifying root causes.
Promote company services and technology.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the company's systems and equipment.
Draft and implement service agreement contracts with customers.
Use monitoring tools to proactively oversee customer equipment.
Perform outbound calls to check on equipment performance and preempt issues.
Maintain logs of customer equipment issues.
Pack and ship spare parts orders.
Provide feedback to engineering and product development teams.
Candidate Profile:
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
Associate degree or equivalent technical training.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and Google Suite.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills using technical methodologies.
Professional in resolving customer issues and creating value.
Effective at prioritizing and scheduling tasks.
