Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team at our plant in Olvega, Spain.

What you can look forward to as Plant EHS Coordinator :

• Assist in establishing systems to achieve and maintain compliance certifications, including conducting EHS internal audits and compliance monitoring.
• Provide daily EHS support to the plant, such as equipment release, hazardous material management, workplace condition monitoring, and organizing EHS Kaizens with employees.
• Report on EHS performance, address issues, and develop corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training, including orientation for new employees, regulatory topics, and refresher training for leaders and BBS coaches.
• Support EHS programs and activities.
• Ensure accurate reporting in corporate and governmental EHS systems.
• Maintain an up-to-date register of compliance obligations and define actions for new requirements.
• Support process optimization and cost reduction activities, including lean workshops.

Your profile as Plant EHS Coordinator :

• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills to convey safety protocols and motivate teams.
• Attention to detail in monitoring safety practices and hazards.
• Problem-solving skills to address safety issues promptly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in Spanish is essential; English is highly valuable.
