As a Sr. Product Designer at Ubisim, your mission will be to create web and VR-based solutions to train the next generation of patient-centric nurses. You’ll collaborate closely with Nurse Educators, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to understand customer and user needs and design innovative product capabilities and experiences.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with your team to discover and prioritize user needs and product opportunities aligned with business objectives.
  2. Plan and co-lead research in collaboration with Product Management and Research partners.
  3. Identify capabilities and features needed to address customer and user needs.
  4. Define the intended user experiences, including thoughts, emotions, and actions when interacting with the platform and simulations.
  5. Create web and VR solution concepts, flows, wireframes, designs, and prototypes, including Information Architecture, Interactions, and Visual Design.
  6. Iterate solutions through critique and usability testing.
  7. Collaborate with Engineering partners to ensure the built solutions align with the design and desired outcomes.
  8. Work with the team to establish clear design patterns and cohesive end-to-end experiences.
  9. Contribute to team reflection and process improvements.
  10. Participate in developing the design system and promote consistency across the platform.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in user experience design for software or complex UI experiences.
  • Experience designing for healthcare is preferred.
  • Skilled in articulating experiences through artifacts like models, narratives, flows, and maps.
  • Expertise in human-centered design and research practices.
  • Strong skills in information architecture, interaction, and interface design.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design best practices.
  • Analytical approach to evaluating and iterating solutions and features.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Strong interest in learning and improving user interactions with our platform.
