Title : Head of FP&A & Reporting (Private Equity, International Consumer Services / Education)

The Opportunity :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Head of FP&A & Reporting to join a rapidly growing, Private Equity-backed international education and consumer services business headquartered in Madrid. With an impressive €200m turnover, EBITDA margins of 30–40%, and an ambitious buy & build growth strategy, the business continues to expand both organically and through acquisitions across global markets.

Reporting directly to the Private Equity Finance Director, the Head of FP&A & Reporting will shape the financial narrative of the business. This role involves partnering with senior leadership, non-finance stakeholders, and the Group in London. The candidate will lead and develop a team of four FP&A professionals, working closely with the Madrid-based controllership team.

The Role :

The role requires a seasoned FP&A leader with strategic and technical expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis aligned with Private Equity standards. Experience in high-growth environments and delivering strategic insights is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Lead FP&A and reporting, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  2. Provide financial analysis and insights to enhance performance.
  3. Partner with senior management and non-finance teams for strategic initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with the Group finance team in London and European colleagues.
  5. Manage and develop a team of four FP&A professionals.
  6. Support M&A activities and post-deal integration financially.
  7. Ensure compliance with Private Equity reporting standards.

The Requirements :

  1. Recognized professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Big 4 audit training.
  2. FP&A leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  3. Experience managing and developing a finance team.
  4. Private Equity experience is preferred.
  5. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  6. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with international exposure.
