Offer Description

ONE. Object of the Call

This call aims to recruit a pre-doctoral clinical research staff at UNINPSI to complete their doctoral thesis while practicing health psychology under supervision. The selection will be competitive, assessing merits and conducting interviews. The post will be offered to the highest-scoring candidates meeting minimum requirements.

TWO. Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Psychology
• Master’s in General Health Psychology or qualification as a Health Psychologist, or eligible to obtain it by the start of the contract
• Submitted application and meet admission requirements for a Doctoral Programme in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences
• Current clearance certificate for sexual crimes (within last 3 months)

THREE. Tasks to be Performed

During the training period, the doctoral student will :

• Participate in the Doctoral Programme activities
• Complete research tasks related to their thesis
• Collaborate on ongoing research projects at UNINPSI and publish in high-impact journals
• Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention in health psychology
• Attend tutorials, supervision, and coordination meetings

The clinical to research time ratio is approximately 1 : 5, subject to variation based on demand and other factors.

This program is governed by academic rules; breach may lead to withdrawal from the program and contract termination.

FOUR. Duration

The contract aligns with inclusion in the doctoral training program. The end date matches the withdrawal from the program. The annual gross endowment is €23,463.36 for the first two years and €54,662 for years three and four.

SEVEN. Candidate Evaluation and Selection

The process is competitive, with merit assessed by an Evaluation Committee, possibly including interviews. The top three candidates will proceed to interviews. Final rankings will be communicated via email, and the list will remain valid for the duration of the call.

The Committee includes representatives from UNINPSI and the Faculty, who will declare no conflict of interest.
