Job Description:

GMV is at the forefront of defining the next-generation algorithms for the Galileo System. These cutting-edge algorithms will be deployed on a state-of-the-art platform leveraging the latest technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD tools.

The development and preparation of this platform follow an agile framework, working closely with the end customer to ensure optimal performance. This platform will enable the efficient use of hardware resources for the development of GNSS algorithms and products within the Galileo constellation.

If you join our team, your main tasks will be:

  1. Developing and maintaining the common services shared across the entire system.
  2. Maintaining and improving the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment.
  3. Updating and managing documentation related to the team, delivered to the customer as part of project milestones.
  4. Supporting Continuous Deployment of the system, based on cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes).
  5. Participating in SAFe ceremonies, representing the team alongside the Product Owner.
  6. Ensuring the end product fulfills the needs of the GNSS algorithms for the Galileo constellation.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for IT engineers with background and interest in space projects. Main requirements are:

  1. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Python, C++, and C.
  2. Basic knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL).
  3. Familiarity with cloud-based environments, particularly Kubernetes and containerized microservices.
  4. Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD environments and pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment).
  5. Experience working with Agile methodologies.

We will also value previous experience and knowledge in Agile projects, ArgoCD, and Kafka.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Hybrid working model and 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.

Flexible start and finish times, and intensive working hours Fridays and in summer.

Personalized career plan development, training, and language learning support.

National and international mobility. Do you come from another country? We can offer you a relocation package.

Competitive compensation with ongoing reviews, flexible compensation, and discount on brands.

Wellbeing program: Health, dental, and accident insurance; free fruit and coffee, physical, mental, and financial health training, and much more!
