Offer Description

The Foundation announces a competitive selection process for 1 full-time position (37.50 hours/week) as a SUPPORT TECHNICIAN. The candidate should have a Higher Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or equivalent, with at least B2 level English, accredited training in handling experimental animals, and a minimum of 6 months professional experience in laboratory technician roles. The position is linked to project OA23/114: ‘Phenotype and genotype of early-onset type 2 diabetes in the Canary Islands: the role of obesity’.

Skills / Qualifications

• Official qualifications related to the post, providing complementary training linked to the functions and competencies.

• Relevant courses related to the post.
• High-level English knowledge (C1 or higher).
• Proficiency in computer applications.

Specific Requirements

1. IATA Certificate
2. Good Clinical Practice Certificate
3. Experience with biological sample shipments
4. Knowledge of statistics
5. Experience with databases
6. Experience with electronic data collection notebooks

Additional Information

Salary: 1,550 euros gross per month.
